There are moments in life that remind us how deeply purpose can weave itself into our work — moments that can only be explained as divine timing. For H&H Fabrication co-owner Kevin Hatch, that moment came when he was diagnosed with cancer in the middle of constructing the Don Harrington Cancer Survivor Center.

At first glance, it might seem like cruel irony — a man building a facility dedicated to those fighting the very battle he was just beginning to face. But as Kevin pressed through the struggle, he soon realized this wasn’t coincidence. It was calling.

Even while undergoing treatment, Kevin continued to lead with strength and faith, pouring his heart into the steel that would one day stand as a beacon of hope for survivors across the Texas Panhandle. Every weld, every beam, every detail carried more meaning than ever before.

And then — in what can only be described as a full-circle moment — Kevin received his complete recovery report while our team was fabricating and erecting steel for the Panhandle Cancer Care Center, another facility dedicated to healing and restoration.

🎥 Watch Kevin’s full testimony below and see how faith, perseverance, and precision came together to tell one incredible story of redemption, recovery, and craftsmanship.

From the very beginning to the end of that chapter, God’s hand was on the work — both in Kevin’s life and in the legacy being built through these facilities.

At H&H Fabrication, stories like Kevin’s remind us why we do what we do — because sometimes, the structures we build stand for far more than steel. They stand for hope.
